Who we are ?
Earthworks, the Group's historic core business: in 1844, Philippe Fougerolle founded the family public works company, which merged with SAE in 1993 to create the Eiffage Group.
Today, Fougerolle Ballot is an expert in earthworks for major projects in mainland France and French overseas departments and territories. The company is involved in the creation of motorway and railway worksites, as well as civil engineering work on the first two EPR2 reactors in Penly.
GTE's expertise in sanitation complements the company's offering for major linear projects.
In favor of sustainable, low-carbon projects, Fougerolle Ballot and GTE are helping to build the infrastructures of tomorrow.

Linear earthworks
With its long-standing expertise, Fougerolle Ballot carries out large-scale linear earthworks such as high-speed lines (BPL, Est, Perpignan-Fugueras, etc.), freeways (A79, A89, A75, A31, A20, etc.) and other highly technical infrastructures (Ariane 6 in French Guiana, EPR2 in Penly, etc.).

Earthworks for Grand Paris
Since 2017, Fougerolle Ballot has been working on the earthworks for the Grand Paris structures on the new metro lines 14, 15 and 16, with a large fleet of 6 deep excavators.

Sanitation / network
A real environmental challenge, Fougerolle Ballot has invested in a fleet of 30 gas-powered semi-trailers, an alternative fuel to petrol and diesel, to reduce its pollutant emissions.

Alternative transport
Fougerolle Ballot uses alternatives to road transport for the removal of excavated material, including river and rail transport. River transport of excavated material has been adopted for lines 15 and 16 of the Grand Paris project, thus reducing the environmental impact of construction sites.

Sanitation and networks
GTE's sewerage and networks offer a complete range of services for linear infrastructure projects such as the creation of high-speed rail lines, the upgrading and widening of freeways, and the development of urban development zones and industrial platforms.
